The Ocean Collection is a reinvented table-and-chair collection made of ocean waste plastic (first developed in 1955), combining creative methods to prevent pollution of the world's oceans with one of the twentieth century's most renowned designers, Nanna Ditzel. The light structure with repeating slats and metal frames distinguishes the series, which was designed and tested for outdoor use.
The UN Sustainable Development Goals of supporting "Life Below Water" (SDGs 14), "Responsible Consumption and Production" (SDGs 12), and "Partnership for the Goals" are all honoured by ocean waste plastic and recycled plastic (PP) (SDGs 17).
The Ocean Collection is built for disassembly, which means that each component may be recycled into new manufacturing cycles in its purest form.
