The curving top rings of the circular luminaire emit a combination of softly diffused, glare-free downwardly directed light and reflected indirect light. The diffuser is encircled by a big angled reflector, which lessens the contrast around the edge. The top reflector is properly shaped to spread uplight over a wide area. The reflector is surrounded by a colourful outer shade that causes light interreflection, resulting in an elegant glow on the exterior of the top and bottom reflectors. It generates four rings of light around the centre diffuser in total.
