Amazed by the fretwork from the Gingerbread Facades of the colonial architecture when travelling through Trinidad in 1993, Nanna Ditzel designed the Trinidad Chair that triggers an interplay of light and shadow, creating a pattern projected into space and a subtle sense of motion.

The distinctive Danish Modern Trinidad was considered as a breakthrough in design technology as it involves the most advanced CNC technology that was rare in plywood shell furniture at that time.
