The fixture provides a glare-free, softly diffused downward directed light. When switched on, it fades in at a preset light level, fades out when turned off, and features a timer function that turns off the light after four or eight hours. For its modest size, the fixture provides a wide light distribution, and the white-painted inner side of the shade helps to reflect the light gently. The light may be dimmed to the desired level between 15 and 100% with the stepless dimmer. The arm is fixed at 15 degrees and can revolve 342 degrees around the base, while the head can tilt and spin to direct light distribution.
