The No. 1 Sofa was Mogensen's first sofa series for Fredericia, and it marked the beginning of close collaboration. Mogensen instilled his excellent sense of materials and proportions into the No. 1 Sofa, emphasizing horizontal and vertical lines with sharp angular armrests. The flexible, interchangeable buttoned cushions soften the firmly upholstered wooden frame. It's all part of Mogensen's goal of making functional furniture that improves people's daily lives.
