Its characteristic wide shoulders and slim waist are striking examples of Jacobsen exploring and challenging the possibilities of veneer to create perfect curves and offer ultimate comfort. The Lily 3108 was originally called the ‘Series 8’ and is widely considered Arne Jacobsen’s most elaborate, stackable chair design.
