The Grand Prix chair has a graphic edge to it. In 1957, it was first shown at the Danish Museum of Art & Design's Designers' Spring Exhibition. Later that year, the chair was shown at the Triennale in Milan, where it was awarded the Grand Prix, the exhibition's highest honour. The well-known chair is available with a steel or wood base and a variety of colours, wood kinds, and upholstery options.
